A content creator and performer, Anisha is most known for her work on social media, with nearly 100 million views across TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube. But she didn’t start online…
SMALL-TOWN BEGINNINGs
Anisha’s first performance was dancing on a stage in rural Alberta. After a childhood spent training for dance exams [Royal Academy] international events [DisneyWorld] and competitions [World of Dance] she pursued her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Anisha has performed on major networks [Netflix/Prime/Apple/FX/CW/Hulu] appeared on popular works [The Boys/American Gods/Grand Army] worked with many brands [Samsung/Porsche/Uber/Reebok/Kotex] hosted national television shows [CBC/OutTv] and hundreds of live events, entertaining millions over the course of her career.
CURIOSITY made the cat into a teacher
With a passion for education instilled from a young age, Anisha nurtured a second career teaching dance and movement programs. She discriminated against no one for her student list, working for public and private schools, leading dance studios [National Ballet] community programs and country clubs [Donalda Club] teaching hundred of fiancées how to make it through their first dance, developing unique lesson plans for all of her classes to leave students feeling seen, inspired and motivated. Through her business experience she found a knack for digital marketing and turned her focus to educational content, building her own brand and co-hosting a digital pop culture show for teens about financial literacy [@streetcents/CBC Gem].
more to come
Now, Anisha freelances her work as an artist, travelling to perform and interview people for her podcast [Neesh & Friends] set to launch summer 2024. She spends most of her time creating content for her followers [@everythinganisha] posting her unique views on fashion, wellness, and life. Her current program offering is a self-esteem building workshop [confiDANCE]. When she’s not working, she resides in her quiet Alberta hometown, spending time working on projects, or playing with her niece, nephew and the dogs.
